Becoming an Elmer

An is a ham who mentors new operators. Good Elmers are patient, answer questions without judgment, invite newcomers to nets, and help with first contacts and first equipment. Running a Learning net means opening on schedule, taking , giving each person a turn, and closing with a recap.
